TRISA Launches Envoy v1.0 to Advance Secure, P2P, Interoperable Travel Rule Messaging

The Travel Rule Information Sharing Alliance (TRISA) today announced the release of Envoy v1.0 Long-term Stable Release (LSR), marking a significant milestone in secure, peer-to-peer messaging for Virtual Asset Service Providers (VASPs) navigating Travel Rule compliance.

Envoy v1.0 LSR introduces new features aimed at reducing friction and increasing interoperability:

  • A redesigned user interface and improved workflows for secure messaging
  • Sunrise email messaging to reach counterparties outside TRISA and TRP
  • Daybreak, a curated directory of over 1,500 VASPs for streamlined discovery and communication (available to managed service users only)
  • Enhanced customer and counterparty management tools
  • An updated API for smoother integration

“Envoy is built to make compliance more practical without sacrificing security or control,” said Edwin Schmierer, Product Manager at Rotational Labs, a TRISA service provider. “This long-term stable release is a foundation users can rely on while the ecosystem continues to evolve.”

Envoy remains the only open-source, secure, and actively maintained Travel Rule messaging solution available today. With v1.0 LSR, TRISA reinforces its commitment to open infrastructure and industry collaboration.
